California and Aspiranet Break Ground on New Behavioral Health Facility

On October 24, 2024, the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and Aspiranet broke ground on a new behavioral health facility in Turlock, California. The Hope Forward Campus will provide critical mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment for children and youth in the Central Valley. Aspiranet partnered with Stanislaus, Merced, and San Joaquin counties to develop this state-of-the-art facility projected to serve more than 1,600 individuals annually.

The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and Mendocino County today celebrated the groundbreaking of a new psychiatric health facility that will address critical gaps in mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. This facility will provide intensive psychiatric treatment services to a diverse range of individuals, including Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC), people experiencing homelessness, and people involved in the justice system. Services will also extend beyond the county, reaching people throughout the North Coast region.
